This is an aircraft museum with a difference. Morayvia was formed in 2011 to progress work started by the Nimrod Heritage Group to preserve the last remaining Nimrod at RAF Kinloss – XV244.
It was granted charitable status in 2012 and established a visitor centre at the former primary school site at Abbeylands in Kinloss.
Now recognised as one of the premier aviation museums in Scotland, Morayvia is re-opening to the public after being closed during the pandemic.
Opening times are 11am to 5pm on Saturdays and Sunday from 3 July. Last entry 4pm.
