Snow Roads

This is how you ‘take the the high road’

Called the ‘Snow Roads’ because they wend through the highest snow-covered plains between Blairgowrie and Grantown-on-Spey, this scenic route is equally enjoyable in the summer when there is no snow to be seen.

The road is 90 miles long and goes through the heart of the Cairngorms National Park, past two ski resorts and infinite attractions, stops and stunning viewpoints.

It’s no surprise that this road is one of the first to succumb to winter weather, but when the snow melts and you’re 2090-feet nearer the sun, it’s a place you won’t forget.
