The mixed woodland in and around Forres provides a beautiful canvas on which Mother Nature paints her farewell to summer.
Leaves turn shades of yellow, brown and russet before dropping to the floor and covering the green grass.
It’s a palette of bright and vivid colours that last all too fleetingly, but we’ve been out and about to capture some of them on camera in a big autumn gallery.
