Scottish Week has been happening every three years in June and is a celebration of all things Scottish.
The highlight of the week is the Toun Mercat, a well-populated town market that draws thousands of people to enjoy entertainment, food and general market activity. Throughout the week, there are several events, all of which culminate in the giant Forres town centre event.
On the three-year cycle, the last one should have been held in 2021, but was cancelled due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
The last such event was on 3 June 2022 as part of the Queen’s 70th Jubilee celebrations.
