Covid-19

Forres and Moray have consistently had the lowest case rates of Covid-19 on the mailnland. We want to keep it that way, so we ask that you travel responsibly.

Scotland is emerging from lockdown and our non-essential and hospitality businesses are opening up on 26 April.

From that date accommodation providers will be allowed to open, but there are still guidelines to follow to keep you safe.

Hospitality restrictions mean you get food and non-alcoholic drinks indoors till 8pm, but alcohol will only be served outdoors, where facilities allow.

Some important things to remember:

  • You must wear a mask where required
  • Keep 2m distance from other people wherever possible
  • Observe limits on the number of people allowed in shops
  • Wash your hands and use sanitiser
